While the former brings valuable general insights, it is the latter which is likely to produce realistic predictions specific to actual cases. After introducing the distinguishing aspects of the problem, the paper discusses the results from two recent numerical analyses: the first using a standard DynaSD material type, and the second, a purpose-made program in which elements of the structure were given elastic properties followed by plastic collapse and a locking phase.
