For the purpose of reducing disaster damage by applying information sharing technologies, the research on disaster reduction using crisis-adaptive information sharing technologies commenced in July 2004, as a three-year joint project. In this project, the disaster mitigating information sharing platform, which is effective for disaster mitigation activities, especially for local governments, is developed.
