Abstract

Calculation of mirror form factors value K. Domke, J. Hauser Institute of Industrial Electrical Engineering, Poznafi University of Technology, Poland. Abstract In this paper, the concept of full, mirror and "ordinary" form factor was discussed, the heat exchange equations in radiative heat transfer were presented and the new method of mirror form factors calculations was indicated. The usefulness of RADIANCE programs (written and used so far for daylight and artificial illumination calculations) for determination of form factors, when diffuse radiation and mirror reflections are taken into consideration, was proven. 1 Introduction When in various modern production technology heat processes run in vacuum (without gas), it is necessary to take into account the radiative heat transfer in systems with diffuse and mirror reflections on boundary surfaces. This is caused by the fact that oxidation of metal surfaces in vacuum does not occur - metallic elements of an electroheat devic
