Abstract

This paper presents a review of environmental information available on the Internet. This includes data, measurements, statistics, databases, software, simulation models, articles, reviews, and technical reports. The paper also analyses current trends and provides a perspective on future developments expected in the next few decades. 1 Introduction and overview The "Internet Revolution" is clearly destined to completely transform the way we work, communicate, shop, sell, interact, and live. I found it amazing that nobody really had the vision of anticipating and predicting this change.
