Abstract

The Police basin belongs among the most important hydrogeological structures in the Czech Republic. The basic objective of the present paper is to assess the degree of contamination hazard and also consider the vulnerability of the environment. The results of this study should provide data for optimization of local industrial and agricultural activities when simultaneously considering the protection of groundwater resources.
