3-D Finite Element Analysis Of Inductor "way" And Inclined Multi-sheets Type Secondary

The paper presents the analysis of circular inductor and inclined multi-sheet secondary that simulates, by analogy, a vehicle that moves along an electromagnetic way. The analysis has been carried out by three-dimensional Finite Element parametric model. It allows to simulate the static and dynamic interaction between conducting sheets and magnetic field generated by stator windings distributed along the track. The effect of sheets inclinations has been investigated and the results are presented in terms of torque, eddy current and flux density distribution.
