Abstract

Improving car adaptability to the environment according to exhaust gases toxicity E. Magaril, L. Reznik Oil and Gas University, Tyumen, Russia At present there is no index characterizing influence of car exhaust gases toxicity upon the environment; it seems to be useful to put such index into operation to compare cars and fuels. The well-known methods of reducing air pollution by car exhaust gases are improving engine and car construction, improving roads,movement arrangement, fuel quality. Among these methods putting additives into fuels to reduce production of toxic sudstances into the engine is the simplest and most available one. So improving car adaptability to the environment according to exhaust gases toxicity by putting additives into fuels is a very actual problem.
