Abstract

The present research focuses on developing a framework for modeling decision process of an expert using the concepts of fuzzy set theory, approximate reasoning and fuzzy control. A theoretical methodology is proposed which utilizes the expert opinions in qualifying the levels of service (LOS) improvement that can be obtained by the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) technologies.
