Abstract

In the paper will be presented a computer program for designing and manufacturing of civil engineering railway. The program is based on AutoCAD technology. The program is designed to be modular and resource-sharing, allowing the greatest flexibility and efficiency. In the design process it is very important to have quality and reliable information. Many resources and methods are implemented in the program in order to create a good layout. The main horizontal and vertical elements are defined in accordance with traffic conditions. Some modification of the main elements, in order that the railroad best suits the terrain, can be done be using of editing tools.
