Abstract

In this paper a review on path and route optimization for rescue vehicles is reported. Starting from general considerations on risk in transport networks, the models and the procedure applied to simulate or optimize an evacuation are analysed. The path and the route optimization were examined, considering the one-to-one approach and the vehicle routing. Keywords: rescue vehicles, vehicle routing, optimization models.
