Abstract

In the paper a computer system to automatic acquisition, recording and displaying of ship true data is presented. The data are obtained from ship navigation devices and subsystems like electric power station and power plant. A particularly useful feature of the system is reproducibility of recorded data to evaluate a ship's state during execution of marine tasks. 1 Introduction An integrated ship data logger has been designed to acquire, record and display ship data in order to assure continuous monitoring of ship devices and subsystem. The logger's structure is presented in Figure 1. It consists of data acquisition units and a computer workstation to display and store gathered data. The acquisition units obtain data from: 1. navigation subsystem, 2. marine electric power station subsystem, 3. mar
