Abstract

The paper describes the finalized decision support system to evaluate environmental risks due to the presence of pollutants in soils and to obtain information about the most vulnerable environmental media. The work first introduces a general overview of the system, the hardware requirements, the programming language, the database and the Geographical Information System utilized. The three main component of the system are described: the risk analysis system, the models data bank and the geographical information system.
