Abstract

In this paper, we apply four different methods for polluted sites risk evaluation. Two of the methods, CHARSY (C.r.a. HAzard Risk SYstem) and RER (Regione Emilia Romagna - Emilia Romagna Region), are hazard ranking methodologies for relative risk assessment. The other two are well-known absolute risk analysis methods, RBCA (Risk Based Corrective Action) and A.P.I.-D.S.S. (American Petroleum Institute's exposure and risk Decision Support Slystem).
