Abstract

Photochemistry and diffusion in Mexico City scenarios J.R. Varela", R.M. Velasco\ C. In this work we have constructed a computational package to consider the time evolution of some important pollutant species in Mexico City. To solve the species equations we consider the CBM4M photochemical mech- anism as well as a model for the turbulent diffusivity. Climate conditions such as the average wind velocity and the emission sources are taken from the experimental information. The program structure allows us to con- sider the different models as independent moduli in order to change them according to the actual situation.
