Abstract

This study is based on the environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental management system (EMS) for an integrated cement factory which is to be established in the city of Burdur located in the central Anatolia region of Turkey. The EIA for the plant was carried out in compliance with the format suggested for cement factories by the Turkish Ministry of Environment.
