Abstract

The bushes constitute a basic species of the ground Mediterranean Ecosystem. Their role in the contribution of organic matter on the ground and prevention of erosion is well known. The Mariola model has been developed to study the behaviour of Mediterranean shrub species from the predictable climatic change. This paper presents a model, inside the context of the Mariola model, which deals with the reproductive phenomena of the phnerogamous plants germination, flowering, fruition and dispersion of seeds.
