Abstract

In the years 1952. 1953. 1964. 1974 water was released from the reservoir Moste. Last release resulted in a detrimental environmental impact downstream This operation has been carefully monitored, enabling an insight in the events that followed the release. Many documents were issued on the basis of dala. which allowed for detail studies of this major disaster on the Sava river. After second gale was built and put in operation the release of water through bottom outlet ceased to be practised.
