Abstract

In this paper, the temporal and spatial variations of Fe and Mn in the water column and in the sediments of Arha Reservoir are analysed. The distributions of Fe and Mn concentrations with dissolved oxygen (DO), pH and SO^ ~ are discussed. The leaching and releasing potentials of Fe and Mn in the reservoir surroundings are experimented and calculated. The variation of Fe and Mn in the reservoir are found to have significant seasonal features.
