Abstract

The importance degrees' determination of equipment in electric propulsion ship H. Yu and K. Ishida Kobe University of Mercantile Marine, Japan Abstract There are many problems to be overcome in shipbuilding. One of them is how to reasonably distribute the different attentions to different equipment based on their characteristics, i.e. how to rank them based on some rules. The importance degree is used to resolve this problem and the mathematic model in Fuzzy function is built in this paper. An example determining the importance degree is given in electric propulsion ship and an adequate result is obtained. The method mentioned in this paper can be used in other engineering calculations too. 1 Introduction In recent years, the application of electric control technology achieved a great achievement in many fields, such as: airplane, car, electric railway and it is used as propulsion on ship widely.
