Abstract

Sea water is polluted in a large scale - especially in offshore activity zone. There is a necessity to use a sophisticated equipment to perform measurements underwater aiming to predict really existed danger of environment contamination. Assumptions are made to use the equipment built at the Technical University of Szczecin for abyssal research. The system applies a remote controlled unmanned vehicle as instrument carrier. 1 Introduction The Baltic - a semi-closed sea, whose coasts are densely populated; almost 70% of all inhabitants of the countries adjacent to the Baltic Sea live not further than 100 km from the sea-coast.
