Abstract

Dynamics of high-speed vehicles using electrodynamic suspension is studied for both continuous and discrete track structures. New approaches are developed for determination of electrodynamic forces and stability of the stationary motion, some numerical results are represented. The problem of stabilization of an unstable system is discussed. 1 Introduction The majority of the results relating to the problem of high-speed electrody- namically suspended transport are devoted to an analysis of various systems of suspension, propulsion and guidance. The problems of dynamics and star bility of the motion were studied less extensively. The detailed investigation of dynamical forces and types of vibration
