Abstract

In this paper we present a modelling methodology and an environment which implement this methodology. This software environment has been designed in order to help the expert of the system in decision making. In fact, the environment is able to support the expert in the building of a model of his system and to evaluate the impact of different configurations (topology and workload) for the given system. Then the experts can make their own decision with full knowledge of the facts. This process can be performed wherever the system exists or not. 1 Introduction Every urban system has to be seen as a global system which integrate poli- cies based on individual traffic, public transport and goods traffic.
