Abstract

The inelastic response of stepped plates to concentrated loading is studied. An approximate analysis for determination of maximal residual deflections is developed for fully clamped plates. As an example, an eccentrically loaded circular plate is investigated in a greater detail. Keywords: circular plate, inelastic material.
