Abstract

Fast computation of the Green function for steady ship wave resistance B. Ponizy", M. Ba", M. Gmlbaud\ F. The method employs linear interpolation of tabulated values of the near- field term N and its derivatives Nx,Ny, NZ with respect to the coordinates X, Y, Z. The interpolation tables are determined using transformations of both coordinates and functions. The coordinate transformation maps the infinite space of coordinates into a unit cube of interpolation variables, and the function transformation defines the singular terms Nx,Ny, NZ in terms of continuous and slowly-varying interpolation functions. The efficiency of the method is illustrated
