Abstract

Sensitivity analysis method of the boundary value problem of the Poisson equation by the Trefftz method E. Kita, Y. Ikeda & N. Kamiya Graduate School of Information Sciences, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan Abstract A sensitivity analysis scheme for the boundary value problem of the Poisson equation with the help of the Trefftz method is described in this paper. In the present scheme, inhomogeneous terms of Poisson equations are approximated with polynomial functions in Cartesian coordinates to derive the particular solutions. The solution of the problem is approximated with the T-complete functions of Laplace equation and the particular solutions of the Poisson equation. Direct differentiation of the approximate solution leads to the sensitivities. The present scheme is applied to some numerical examples in order to discuss the features. 1 Introduction Sensitivity analysis schemes are very important tools for solving inverse problems. Many researchers have presented the sensitivity analys
