Abstract

On solution of two problems in free surface seepage flow hydrodynamics K. Kosorin Introduction In practical application of hydrodynamic simulation models we have often to face their disagreeable properties, namely the largeness and complexity of the domain for which a concerned numerical model is to be applied, and shortage of information on the boundary conditions. Potential solutions of concerned problems may be different, however, they always depend on the method used as basis for construction of the applied numerical model. A method of a successful solution of above-mentioned problems is described in the study, using simulation of the three-dimensional water flow in porous media with real geological characteristics and interaction with surface streams. The solution of problems is based on the utilization of methodological possibilities of the hydrodynamic theory of boundaries [1] and is directly related to be the solution of the problem of unkn
