Abstract

This paper outlines the development of a Knowledge Based Decision Support System for Water Supply Management (WSMDSS) to emulate and enhance the ability of water planning experts in the decision making process. The case of a medium-size city water suply distribution network in South India is presented as a demonstration of the approach, Introduction The main objective of water supply management is to provide the reliable supply under varied availability conditions.
