Hursley Park, Winchester, Hampshire, UK ABSTRACT This paper discusses some aspects of the development process used in a recent project on IBM's CICS/ESA transaction processing product, from the perspective of a member of the development team, with some reflections on why it is felt that this produced a high quality result.
