Peculiarities Of Tube Bank Heat Transfer In Cross Foam Flow

In this paper experimental results of heat transfer of staggered bundle of tubes to static stable foam flow are presented. The experiments were performed on the model of heat exchanger. The cellular foam flow as heat transfer agent was used in this model. The experiments were provided for the middle and the sidelines of the tube bank consisting of the three lines. The results of investigation are discussed from the standpoint of the influence of mean gas velocity, volumetric void fraction of static stable foam flow and tube position in the line. Influence of these factors on heat transfer intensity of tube bundle is determined. The experimental results were described by dependence between Nusselt and Reynolds numbers.
