Abstract

The objective of this paper is to give a model based proof of the fact that thermo-transport and heat loss influence significantly the axial non-uniformity of a thin semiconductor crystal grown by Bridgman-Stockbarger method in a strictly zero gravity environment, and to evaluate quantitatively this influence.
