Abstract

Temperature is a very important parameter of the working conditions in a friction assembly with rolling bearings. The higher increases of the temperature have been known to cause destruction effects on the wear surfaces of bearing and lubricant conditions in a friction assembly. This paper presents a new space model of the energy balance in this assembly. This model is applicable to any operational conditions of real objects, allowing for the optimum choice of construction and utilization parameters of the designed bearing assemblies, roller bearings and lubricants. 1 Introduction Thermal conditions are very important problems to the modern technical system. A detailed system sensitive to thermal influence is a friction assembly with rolling bearings. Sensitivity of this assembly to incre
