Abstract

The present paper reports the study of actual and future photochemical pollution with CALMET and CALGRID models in the congested urban, harbour and industrial area of Genoa (Italy) in the frame of a Regional Air Quality Management Plan. The data in input are briefly discussed respect to meteorological data and speciated and time resolved emissions inventory. CALGRID model sensibility to boundary and initial conditions is analyzed with reference to ozone and nitrogen oxides. The results of the good comparison between ozone concentration data coming from simulation and from some monitoring stations are reported. The CALGRID model application to the emissions projected in time up to year 2010 in a "do nothing scenario" (with application of existing new normative) and in a "plan scenario" (taking into accoun
