Generation of Atmospheric Emission Inventories in Europe with High Spatial and Temporal Resolution A contribution to subproject GENEMIS U. Schwarz, B Wickert, A. Obermeier and R. Friedrich IER - University of Stuttgart, Hefibruhlstrafie 49a, 70565 Stuttgart, Germany Aims Within EUROTRAC the need of accurate, detailed and complete emission data for atmospheric transport models increases considerably. High temporal and spatial resolution is required for the investigation of photo-oxidant formation. Therefore, the objectives of this contribution to emission data improvement include: * the refinement of spatial distribution, * the advancement of methods for temporal and species resolution, and * the improvement of tools to generate emission data for different geographical projections and grid sizes.
