Abstract

Peculiarities of the Ozone Generation in the Atmosphere over Industrial Centres A contribution to subproject TOR-2 M.Yu. Arshinov, B D Belan, V.K. Kovalevskii, T.K. Sklyadneva and G.N. In spite of the long history of atmospheric ozone investigations, the data on its spatial-temporal variability are incomplete. Only its characteristics in the stratosphere and ground layer have received been studied. So let us briefly consider the ozone dynamics in the lower troposphere. The material for analysis are measurements of the atmosphere over big industrial centres of Russia from laboratories onboard the IL-14 and AN-30 aircraft. As a result some peculiarities of the ozone generation were isolated. Measurement have been carried out with a chemiluminescence ozonometer 3-02P. Regions
