Abstract

The global management of chemicals represents one of the most important responsibilities of many companies and organizations today and it will definitively increase in the coming years. One reason supporting this statement is the complexity of the task itself, involving several professional disciplines (scientific, legal, human health and environmental protection). The second reason is that Material Safety Data Sheets (the main document that must be issued with any chemical) are the world's second-most printed documents after invoices.
