Abstract

Since 1990, the number of 4 year undergraduate environmental engineering degree programs in Australia has grown from 0 to 15. This is a significant figure, given that a total 31 Australian universities offer engineering degrees. In 1995, a national survey of environmental courses was undertaken. This paper reports on the survey results for undergraduate environmental engineering degrees in terms of their philosophies and curricula.
