Abstract

The present study deals with identification and input reconstruction for mass spectrometer. The identification is performed using ARMAX model, which is validated for the inversion performance requirements. The input is rebuilt using Markov parameters formulation. This procedure reduces the influence of measurement noise on the resulting input. 1 Introduction The Mass Spectrometer (MS) is a powerful gas analyser for gas detection and continuous measurement of their concentration. Due to its accurate, linear and fast response, this apparatus has applications in biomedical field (analysis of pulmonary ventilation or anaesthetic gas concentration measurement) and in industry
