Abstract

Bamboo fiber is a natural resource and has enough strength as reinforcement of composites. In this study, using bamboo fiber and PP, composites are prepared by injection molding and compared with glass fiber reinforced thermoplastics. Then, we investigated the effect of the fiber characteristics on mechanical properties. The bamboo fiber is confirmed to be useful for the reinforcement of FRTP
