Abstract

The paper discusses the conditions for thermal comfort in simulated saturation diving. The mathematical model of human thermal exchange was developed to determine the range of environmental temperatures necessary to maintain thermal comfort in neon- helium-oxygen simulated saturation dives up to the depth of 190m. 1 Introduction The diving operations where the divers are exposed to the ambient water pressure can be classified in two categories: bounce dives for short jobs and the saturation diving for long ones. The saturation diving theoretically enables the divers to stay on the bottom indefinitely but requires the hyperbaric complexes where the divers live at the pressure equal to the ambient pressure existing at their wor
