Abstract

A number of selected problems related to the computation of energy balance that enables estimation of the energy demand for the deep-sea diver-training chamber are introduced herein. The issues presented in this paper should also be useful for calculations of other saturation diving plants such as, for example, underwater habitats, decompression chambers or diving bells. 1 Introduction Saturation diving systems, which make possible a man's long-lasting activity at the considerable depths, have largely contributed towards the recent dynamic development of the Ocean Engineering itself. In fact, many offshore actions - service and routine maintenance of underwater facilities of all kind, the drilling platforms, rigs, producin
