Abstract

The present work describes the testing to destruction of composite rings made from unidirectional glass-fibre plastic at compression under initial in- ternal blast loading. This destruction happens from bend at compression owing to loss of stability of the radial axisyrninetric movements. It is signif- icant that the initial loading is internal but external pressure is not applied to ring.
