Abstract

A sensitivity analysis about the influence of the E-modulus distribution, differential settlements, variation in geometrical definition, distribution of stone densities, etc, (related to the vertical section through the main nave) is here presented. The purpose is to calibrate the importance of such variables in the relevant parameters (internal forces, stresses and displacements) in order to have consistent criteria to define what to monitorize and where to install measurement devices in strategic places. This shoud lead to reduce monitoring cost and to deep in the knowledge of the structural behaviour of the monument. 1.
