Abstract

Within the research project DISPOS we develop a dispatching support system for use in railway operation control systems. In case of detected operating conflicts, this support system should assist the dispatcher in finding appropriate dispatching measures to tackle the conflict in an optimal way. The available assistance comprises of an early conflict detection, the display of relevant information, the prediction of certain dispatching measures' impacts, and the proposal of adequate dispatching actions.
