Abstract

The effects of column stirrup and longitudinal beam reinforcement on exterior beam-column joint under cyclic loading W. Merati," P. As the measure of evaluation, the hysteretic diagram for joint response subjected to a certain cyclic loading pattern has been used. Three 1: 1 scale exterior beam-column joint specimens have been used to represent 3 variations of longitudinal beam reinforcement ratio, which affect the number of joint stirrup required. The test results have been presented in the form of crack pattern, energy dissipation and accumulation for various loading cycles, and hysteretic loop graphs. It is concluded that the ratio of longitudinal re
