Abstract

Analysis of erosion phenomena and verification of the effects of protection structures on the coast between the port of Punt a Ala and Punt a Martina L. Berardi, F. Tup one Dipartimento di Idraulica, Trasporti e Strade, Facoltd di Ingegneria, Universitd di Roma 'La Sapienza', Via Eudossiana, 18 - 00184 Roma, Italy ABSTRACT In this paper an analysis is proposed of the coastal erosion phenomena in presence and in absence of coastal engineering (offshore dam). The analysis has been carried out implementing a procedure which make use of a series of models of numerical simulations for the evalutation of the sea bottom and of the shoreline through the analysis of the wave field the currents structure and the erosion and sedimentation field.
