The control-volume method on a staggered grid arrangement is employed using a body-fitted coordinate system. The theoretical predictions on a relatively poor grid show satisfactory agreement with experimental measurements for the flow characteristics upstream and downstream from the stern of the body. In order to improve the result accuracy additional investigations are required as regards the grid dependency and the turbulence modelling.
