Abstract

In several previous papers the author has used the eigenstrains (initial strains) or eigenstresses (initial stresses) for optimization of material struc- tures. Moreover, he has formulated an effective approach to coupled model- ing of physically nonlinear bodies which were on one hand side computed by virtue of linear boundary element or finite element method, and, simulta- neously, results from measurement of internal quantities (such as displace- ments, strains or stresses) "in situ" were known and involved into compu- tation.
