Abstract

A knowledge based system for application in the area of civil construction M. da Graga Pereira L/F^C, ABSTRACT This article presents a resume of extensive research carried out in the area of construction of pre-molded parts. The problem was studied under several different aspects, such as construction, computation, planning, and good results were obtained. The purpose of the present work is to develop an expert scheduling system for producing ferrocement elements. The system is able to encapsulate some of the expertise used by planners in manufacturing environment. The knowledge acquisition process involves both the elicitation of knowledge directly from experts, and the analysis of reports from ferrocement factories.
