Abstract

By coupling the SRM rule (Strain Rate Modified accumulation of creep damage) to predict the lifetime in the range of fatigue-creep interaction with a reliable constitutive model, its extrapolation ability can be fully recognized and the number of necessary experiments considerably further reduced. The SRM rule has been coupled with uniaxial Chaboche's vis- coplastic constitutive model.
