Abstract

Stress intensity factors of oblique cracks in fretting fatigue, K\ and KU, have been determined through a numerical analysis using the scheme of Green's functions and superposition. The Green's functions have been obtained through boundary element analysis for normal and tangential point forces on oblique crack faces.
